SeaForce Shield provides reliable performance, meeting basic needs at an affordable price. The product is suited for a wide range of vessels with varied trading parameters. It is only recommended for underwater hull application in drydockings.

 

This anti-fouling coating has an efficient double biocide package which can be used for up to 60 month docking interval for the flat bottom and boot top, and up to 36 months for the lower vertical sides.

 

SeaForce Shield is a one-component, high-solids hydrolysing anti-fouling coating based on ion-exchange technology. It provides cost-efficient fouling protection by reducing hull deterioration. As part of the SeaForce range, the coating features the SMART biocide release mechanism that helps to keep vessel hulls clean.

 

For optimal results, SeaForce Shield should be applied on approved primers and tie coats on aluminium and carbon steel substrates. The performance claim is backed by the best initial idle period guarantee in its category.
