Hardtop SmartPack is a modified acrylic topcoat with a glossy finish and easy 1:1 mixing ratio. Hardtop SmartPack can be used direct to metal, and the 1:1 mixing ratio makes it easy to use and helps reduce wastage. Specially designed for brush and roller, Hardtop SmartPack has a glossy finish with good gloss retention. It does not contain any isocyanates, or generate any di-isocyanates during hot work, welding or fires, and can be tinted over MCI. Hardtop SmartPack is ideally used as a topcoat over epoxy primers where a durable, high-gloss finish is required in aggressive atmospheric exposures.
When used as part of an approved scheme, this material has the following certification:
- Low Flame Spread in accordance with EU Directive for Marine Equipment. Approved in accordance with parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO 2010 FTP Code, or Parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO FTPC when in compliance with
IMO 2010 FTP Code Ch. 8.
