Jotafix Epoxy Primer is a surface-tolerant epoxy mastic primer tailor-made for onboard maintenance. It is specially designed for areas where optimum surface preparation is not possible or desired and provides protection in environments with high corrosivity. Jotafix Epoxy Primer can be used as a primer, midcoat, finish coat or as a single-coat system in marine atmospheric environments and can be applied by brush and roller. Suitable for properly prepared carbon steel, galvanised steel, stainless steel and a range of aged coating surfaces. It can be applied at sub-zero surface temperatures.

When used as part of an approved scheme, this material has the following certification:
- Low Flame Spread in accordance with EU Directive for Marine Equipment. Approved in accordance with parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO 2010 FTP Code, or Parts 5 and 2 of Annex 1 of IMO FTPC when in compliance with
IMO 2010 FTP Code Ch. 8.
